Content Wanted!

We are currently seeking High Definition content for several possible uses.

First, we will soon be launching a website - High Def Shorts.com (not up yet) - wherein people will be able to download clips in Windows Media 9 / High Def (720p).  These will include shorts, music videos, documentaries, CG (animations, compositing, etc.) and miscellaneous eye candy.  For longer pieces, we will have a shorter version for download, then will have the full version available on High Def DVD.  In addition to the clip, the website will include information about the film &/or filmmakers.

Second, we are in the process of putting together our High Def DVD demo disc.  This will go out at various entertainment industry events, and to the filmmaking industry in general.  For this we are looking for similar material, but especially for pieces that have distinctive visual appeal.  Again, information about the film &/or filmmaker will be included - so it's a good way to get your piece potentially seen in the industry.

Third, we are working on a deal to bundle High Def content with the first of the upcoming set-top High Def DVD players.  This would have to be "family" rated material, of course - but otherwise similar.

Indies!
Of course, we are also seeking feature films.  We are developing a number of distribution chains for both physical media (High Def DVD) and broadcast rights - so we can potentially set up your film's distribution.  Or, we can offer High Def DVD authoring services so that you can still release your title in this format.
Remember, the High Def DVDs (typically) have both standard def and High Def on the same disc - so the High Def version is more like a "bonus version" - not detracting from the playability of the disc to those without HD.
